We have moved our avatar system in-house. So you will need to upload them again, but this time they will be to our Vox servers and you can change them anytime you want. =)

Is this picture going to show up on our vox sites? That would certainly make it helpful to tell the different sites apart.

Yes, the vox avatar is the profile pic that
willdisplays on the sidebar of your vox.
